MP Gallery - Warlingham, Surrey, England - OSO, Gate Dip, Gate Corner; l) gatecorner

Identification (James Harrod): Four sculptures. Top left, bear, in typical Acheulian style. Bottom left, a flake, the obverse of which has retouch to make two human profiles--see next photo in gallery. Bottom center, a combination zoomorph, perhaps another bear, and on obverse a head emerging from it, as if a bear cub, or other creature. Bottom right, a chopper.

Note. The card says 'North Downs'--an error--the site is in Warlingham, Surrey, on the South Downs.
