Har Karkom HK190, HK190b - (v) Tetrahedron

Tetrahedron from Ohle Sandpit, Pampau, Germany, Cromerian (500,000 BP or older) placed next to tetrahedral/triangular female figurine from Fontmaure, France, the latter site dated to the Mousterian of Acheulian Tradition.

Comment: The Fontmaure figurine has a zoomorph flaked on the bottom corner of figurine just as does the HK190b figurine. Since both pieces are Mousterian of Acheulian Tradition, we propose that this thematics--triangular or tetrahedral with female imagery in combination with zoomorphic imagery is typical of MAT palaeoart and religious imagination.
