Bordes (1968: fig. 41): "Micoquian from La Micoque (layer 6). Row 1, from let toright: four handaxes, three scrapers. Row 2: four handaxes, two scrapers, one point. Row 3: three handaxes, two broken foliates (?), two scapers."

Comment: The Micoquian is generally dated to the OIS5 (c. 100,000 BP, or later. It may be viewed as a final or epi-Acheulian transitional industry contemporaneous with Middle Paleolithic industries.
