Bordes (1968: fig. 31): "Flint tools from Clacton (England). 1, end-scraper; 2,5, 'Bill-hooks', 3. denticulate tool; 4, side-scraper; 6, flint chopping-tool. These chopping-tools made from flint nodules have been mistaken for cores."

Comment: The Clacton core and flake industry is dated roughly OIS 11, c. 400,000 BP.
