HK148b Aterian Hut Site, Har Karkom, Israel, Gallery 2 -- West Sector
c. greater than 100,000 to 24,000 BP; h) hk148b #10 bottomeleph

Aterian hutfloor HK 148b, West Sector, artifact #10.

Tentative interpretation (James Harrod): This flint artifact appears to bear multiple images, horse + hippo + elephant. Rotated to this angle it appears to be elephant-like, portraying the head and trunk, the trunk having an S-curve to it, in a manner virtually identical to that of artifact #7 (see Gallery 1, image (o).
