Aterian hutfloor HK 148b in its landscape setting, E. Anati Har Karkom Expedition, 4 April 1996. Facing south on the trail from the HK86b, the 'Paleolithic Sanctuary'. The HK 148b hutfloor is visible as a large circular cleared area in the hamada, the surface of flint pebbles and nodules. To the left, or east, is the cliff edge with the valley floor below in the distance.
