Comment: The thousand plus archaeological sites on Har Karkom were discovered and have been extensively surveyed by Emmanuel Anati and the Centro Camuno di Studi Preistorici, Valcamonica, Italy. The archaeologists at work in this photo give an idea of the size of the standing stones, which are generally two to three feet in height.
